St. Wenceslas Tasting Cellar

A house that is like a bottle of good wine: the best is hiding inside.

The outside of the building does not disturb the line of the Moravian cellar. Only according to the atypical signpost and art fittings you can see that there is something different happening.

But once you open the red door, you will become part of a modern artwork. Spacious interior with simple, clean furniture and artistic fittings. The artists Šimon Rujbr and Martin Ptáček from the MOMO studio who were working on the wine tasting cellar of the St. Wenceslas were not bound by the conventions of a "typical Moravian wine cellar". You can admire the castles of Jiří Netík castor cast bronze or the unique cellar entry portal made ou of blacksmith's black sheet. Wine bottles are placed in it, which, in combination with the gray masonry, makes the play of light appear. Along the original bronze sculptures, a spiral staircase with artificially forged railing comes.

Thanks to the glass plates between the floors, you can watch the stars directly from the cellar.

This is the environment you want to come back to, where you want to invite your friends.

After the event we will be happy to accommodate you in the St. Wenceslas apartments, which can accommodate up to 14 guests. A larger group can be acomodated within walking distance (within 5 minutes).
